What you should know..
TERS has been confirmed to be extended until the 15th of March 2021. This announcement will proof to be of some relieve for the industries affected, as well as their employees. The tourism, hospitality and liquor industries have suffered tremendous job losses and companies were forced to close down due to the lockdown restrictions.
The funds will mainly be made available to the affected parties in the extended lockdown restrictions, namely the hospitality sector, tourism sector, the liquor industry. The application for funds will run in two periods: 16 October 2020 – 31 December 2020 and 01 January 2021 – 15 March 2021.
